New Dose of Riba-RibaPack

My doctor gave me a new prescription for Riba. it's call RibaPack.
I am usually taking 2 in the morning and 3 in the evening but with a new medication I have to take 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening.
does anybody taking this pills?

In the end, riba is riba.  Probably just fewer capsules.  Let us know what it looks like when you get the rx filled.

Still...you have to remember to pick up the pack twice a day...same thing as picking up the "bottle" twice a day.

It's the darn "twice a day" that gives me trouble sometimes you know?  Thank God it's not more often then that!

I think that I read in one of those VX-950 trial thinggys that it's dosed every 8 hours.  Riba is a little more shotgun like but it seems like with Vertex compliance is a little more strict.

Yeah, we get those, they are 400 mg each, hey I think its easier take less pills, same miligrams.

I would call the pharmacy before cashing the rx and confirm the actual dosage in each pill, as doctors and NP's do screw up more than we'd like.

I say this because you're now taking 2 in morning and 3 in evening, so unless the RibaPak formulates each of the two pills differently, to me your new regimen indicates a dosage change. This may be intentional or unintentional but I would check it out now, even though I'm pretty sure it's OK.
