Nioxin Shampoo

Ok Ive called several beauty supply houses-If you have used Nioxin Shampoo,where did you get it? I would like to try it to see if it will work for the hair loss I might experience with chemo     cindy

My friend had breast cancer and lost her. They gave her to wigs but she also bought some bangs. I ordered whole bunch of skull caps on line, and she use to the bangs under the skull caps. Also she had a ball with funky hats! When I had my firs blood transfusion I was on the cancer ward and a mental health nurse came in to see my roomate. I learned so much from her. She said to play classical music that has 4 beats, she said your brain remembers the 4 notes. Also the medical ctr they have volunteers that do Reike. She also said that they play forest sound for the babies and it makes them sleep. Maybe your medical ctr may have a social worker.
Now youi have to KICK Cancers ***!

I get mine here, but honestly, eyes of blue, we experience nothing compared to cancer chemo.  When the loss happens, and it can come as soon as the first or second treatment, it may all come out at once.  I think the shaved head is a beautiful thing, myself.  And I think there are a world of wonderful scarves.  there used to be a guy who posted here whose wife made some.  Let me see if I can find a link.    (nope, I couldn't)

I use Nioxin 6 which is for course hair , not died.  If you go to Nioxin's website, you will find an online questionaire and they will tell you the best one for your situation.  I order the 6 online because about all I see in local stores is 2-3.

I got mine at cvs, not that expensive but it does help with the look of fullness when you blow dry your hair. Dont think it helps with fall out but does make it feel and look fuller. Wishing you the best.

I just read about your current medical situation , I'm so sorry!!
They are coming up with new meds for Cancer all the time and I've heard
good stories from some friends . One friend had one of his lungs removed
was still okay and lived another 10 years.

I used it last time I treated and I got it from the Walmart salons.  Also, if you happen to start breaking out in a rash around your eyes it could be the Nioxin.  It tore me up! It took me a while to realize that's what it was but once I discontinued it the rash went away.  It does work though!!!  I also had a spray that I would use on my scalp to help with additional growth, especially at my hair line where the loss was most noticeable.  Hope it works for you with no problem!

I bought Nioxin at the beauty salon in our local Walmart. I think if you do a google search,  it may end up showing where to buy it in your area. Alternately, try calling a local salon. Most stylists know what it is and my know where you can get it.
