I know what you are going through. My case has been extreme (having no enamel on my teeth may have made it worse) see post below (yet another sx) for my story.

My experience was similar ro Willings. After 6 months on tx I scheduled cleanings every 3 months for the remailing 1 year of tx. I also had the deep pocket cleaning. Things are back to mormal. LL

I had a similar experience. My first cleaning post tx reported significant new gum problems, including pockets deeper than any I had experienced before. I'm now about 18-months post and, with the benefit of one scaling plus the same brushing/flossing routine, everything is back to normal. Yet another "minor" drug side-effect you have to dig your way out of post-tx. For those on tx, you may want to increase the freequency of your Dentist visits to limit the damage : the usual brushing/flossing may not be enough.
