LOL!! No, I don't mind :0)
Good points.
Hi Arlene!
Is your neck sore at all? I receive massage therapy treatments regularly on my neck and shoulders. This form of migraine treatment has really been mandatory for me since I've been on tx. Massage keeps my stress levels at bay and my neck muscles relaxed and it's not adding another drug to the regiment.
So if Beblessed doesn't mind, :-) I would like to add a few more suggestions to the list!
8. Neck massage
9. MSG can cause terrible headaches...I would say NO to MSG
10. Soda pop - diet/reg, sports drinks..usually has high sodium = headaches
11. Aspartame...bad for liver + causes headaches
12. Wheat / gluten can cause headaches
13. Pony tails and tight hats-OUCH!
14. Loud and obnoxious chatter-OUCH!
Sorry, had to have a little fun there!
Good luck and many blessings on your journey!
Carolyn
Hi. I think you need to look at a few factors.
1. Drink plenty of water
2. Read labels for Sodium, as too much can trigger migraines
3. Determine if you have food allergies that are triggering migraines
4. Try taking Advil or Tylenol 30-45 minutes prior to taking your treatment meds
5. Sometimes having a banana (for potassium) helps, but I'm not sure is too much potassium is good or bad while on treatment.
6. You can also try chiropractic or acupuncture for migraines
7. It can also be related to your blood pressure, especially if you wake up with a headache
Some headaches are the norm with tx, but let your doc know you are having migraines. Hope this helps! Feel better.
The subject of headaches while doing tx, is discussed here regularly
.
Please do a search, just type in headache, and you'll find many recent posts about how other people handle these headaches.
Good luck
OH
sorry you are having such bad headache problems. I get head aches at times but nothing lasting. I was on incivek but am now only on peg and riba.
wishing you fast relief and a more comfortable treatment in the future!
