My first elevated AFP cancer marker

I know it's just a marker to run more test. But out of all of these I've had run now I get on highly elevated. What are some of the other reasons that could make it high. It's really hard not to worry and be scared. I have a appt on the 22 for a CT of my liver.

I am sorry I don't know anything about this at all.  Someone will most likely come in that does but I didn't want you to think you were being ignored...I have hepC and it's taken me a long time to learn about THAT - I don't have any knowledge about AFP cancer markers.

I'm sorry.

Hi, I don't know anything about this either, but I just wanted to tell you I feel ya. Because I am a stage 4. I am worried about that happening to me. But try to think positive until all the tests come in. I will pray for you. God Bless
