"After one month my HCV RNA PCR test was positive. Can any one tell me that PCR test can give the same results as in Pregabalene toxicity and HCV ?"
You have had a positive HCV RNA PCR and are wanting to know if pregabalene will cause it to be a false positive is that correct ?
If so the answer is no pregabalene (lyrica) will not cause a false positive on an HCV RNA PCR test
Overview of Hepatitis C lab results - Hepatitis C, United States Department
of Veteran's Affairs is the correct reference.. Good Luck
Type- "overview of hepatitis C lab results - Hepatis C". This is on the
Department of Veterans Affairs website which is an excellent site for
if your searching for answers.
You say, "In the very early stage my HCV was negative" In the very early stage of what?
Then you develop jaundice "this was faintly positive."
What was? Another test? Which test? Was it HCV RNA PCR?
Do you have your copy of the test(s)? If so could you post exactly what it says? I would not like to mislead you by citing data that is inconsistent with the test(s) you actually took.
It is a little slow right now. Perhaps another person may be able to decipher what you mean.

I am guessing you might be asking if the Pregabalin influenced the result of your HCV test? There are medications that might effect our liver enzymes but Hepatitis C is a blood borne infectious disease.
