Passing Out and Severe Confustion

When I was first diagnosed with Hep C (age 16) I used to get very strange "episodes" where I would "Zone Out" get severly confused and pass out.  After I come too, I find it extremely difficult to communicate and understand other people and I cannot move.  It has been explained to me that it appears as if I am recovering from a small seizure or stroke, but I come to after a couple of hours. I am extremely drained, very tired and weak after these episodes.   The doctors attributed these episodes to my Hep C as they ran out of other ideas.  All test come back "normal".
I happened to have one of these episodes last week and have not been myself ever since.  This was the first time in 7 years this has happened to me and I am afraid I may start getting these more frequently as I used to when I was a teenager.
Has ANYONE else suffered from these episodes or anything close to them???  I'm trying to understand what may trigger them...

could be blood sugar, coild be high ammonia from the HCV, could also be TIA's caused by neurohepatitis or encephalitis brought on by the disease. Could also be HCV causing changes to your pituitary and thyroid function.
and about a dozen other things.
you will need to have test run to get to the bottom of this, and also are you treating, have you treated, and if not, why not? Do you have a liver doctor yet??

Have you been tested for Hypoglicemia ?  HCV can cause many things espcially brain fog and confusion if you have had it for a while  I have boughts of confusion they come and go and I feel weak and suffer from fatigue I have had HCV for a long time but was just diagnosed I am also Insulin Resistant
Hypoglicemia can make you pass out   diet and medicine can correct it  Just a thought but you do need to figure out what is going on Maybe others have a more educated insight as your condition needs attention
best of luck to you
