Started today

Just started on triple today. Four weeks of PegIntron and Rebetol, then adding Victrelis at week 5. Was hoping to get the RediPen, but it was not available, ended up with the mix and stick. With everything being free I can't complain, such a great assistance program. For those who have, or are treating, how long did it take for any sides to kick in? Just curious as to what I may be up againist. Thanks.

I also started Victrelis on Monday, worst part was the bad taste in my mouth and some diarrhea.  I also started Vic after 8 weeks on SOC, so unfortunately my ANC was 400  on Monday and I had to do a neupogen shot as well!  I was UND at week 7!!

No headache, fever or chills.  As of today, my symptoms are just some fatigue.  I fill up at 64 ounce bottle of water every morning (half my body weight) and make sure I drink that at least during the day, and that does not count the water i get from food, afternoon smoothie, etc.  I really think it helps.     We are on the road to SVR!!  Best wishes to you.

Thank you all for comments! Day one was rough, but I got through it. Chills, 101 fever, headache, drank a good bit of water. Time to take the morning pills and hope for the best!

Good luck with your treatment.

Water is key.  Drink lots.  It really seems side effect vary from person to person and from week to week.  What I experienced in Week 1 was different from what I am experiencing in Week 2.  There is so much good information and support on this site.  I am sure it will help you.
