Hep c and hiv test results

Can anybody tell me if Hep C would effect HIV results if the exposure was at the Same time I hVe tested at 4 months and both were negative

Thank you for your responce iit settles me a little but i think i will keep testing till 6 months. Ii have a wife and family to much to risk by not knowing.

Thank u for quick responce I have a lot of symptoms that are not explained. Have u heard of anyone who may have taken longer then four months to test pos for hiv due to hep c coo fraction using recent tests.

The experts here say that it will not affect the testing. If you tested for hiv at 4 months you are free to go! Congratulations! I think they also say that 3 months is enough time for the average but 6 months is conclusive for the hepatitis c.
