And of course there's the Bill-Zach method of calculating viral load too, which always confounds us both :o).
Log (logarithmic) values are just another way of expressing large numbers; in this case of course it’s referring to HCV viral load.
A 1 log-10 reduction in viral load = 90% reduction.
A 2 log-10 = 99%
A 3 log-10 = 99.9
etc.
If you have a scientific calculator, you can enter your numerical viral load value then press the ‘log’ key to calculate your log-10 value. I’m not sure how to reverse that order precisely, but log 6.39 = roughly 2,450,000 expressed in numerical method.

As you can see you have a viral load of 1,100,000.... Log value is just another way of saying it............Good luck
