1st Shot down........

Okay so my first shot was wednesday at 5:00 and it is now friday and i feel like a hundred bucks. Had a pretty bad head ache all day yesterday, but can't tell if it was really the shot or just myself getting so worked up about getting the shot. Anyhow.. Today i feel great, totally normal and nothing arising at the shot site yet, just a little ***** mark from where she stuck me. I am so happy right now that i have reacted so good for the first shot. 1 down, 47 to go HA HA. Will keep all updated as the weeks go by.

good deal there girl, my 1st shot I shook so hard , my teeth chattered. You'd thought fishdoc was chasin me around with her pitchfork! Today at work , I was so tired ,I could't hardly function. I'm glad I heard all the experiences on the sx's here or I probably would have went to the emergency room on the 1st shot nite. Since then the sx's from the shots haven't been too bad at all. It's the riba I hate, I call it the drug from h-ll! The ribbin we give each other here is the best medicine for the sx's Ive found yet.

personally, I like humor, side conversations, etc.  they keep it human.  I was thinking today its too bad there isn't a board to post photos, so theres a face to the names.  When someone posts something bad, I don't have a clue what to say, but give me someone to poke with my pitchfork... I like the stright dope too. As matte of fact when I first posted here I was looking for the stright dope on what to expect from these lovely drugs we are on. Never got the anwser I was looking for and now i know why. Because it is truly different for all of us.

I have been reading this site almost everyday for about 2 months and lets face it there are a select few who post on a regular bases and I would bet my bottom to dollars the majority of post, not including the little string of personnel converstions, are about issues that people are dealing with in regards to treatment. If there were not issues this site would not exist who would need it.

that is why I think it is important for people who may not have bad side effects to post a lot and load and clear. Because I can see how someone who is thinking about starting treatment might be scared by what they read here.

Listen don't get me wrong I think everyone should tell it like they feel it or like they are going through it. But we should imply that we we experince others are going to experince as well. There is a big difference between being honest and negative. In my case honest would be I hate it when people use LOL all the time negative would be to say it was stupid.

I had a good start too, actually thought the shots made me a little frisky.... that lasted about 4 shots.... haven't been interested since....much..I'm on shot 11 tonite, which means next week I am 1/4 of the way through   whoo whooo... better than just starting.... best of luck....my biggest side effect is what I call "stupid tired".  You know how you get so tired sometimes your brain is just numb, can't even sleep, just in a bad zone... that is pretty much what I feel like when I feel bad.  This week, I'm feeling pretty chipper. Plantin flower, tending baby chicks, bought a new incubator, and checkin out eggbid for prospects.. My biggest suggestion is absolutely do not overdue, its like buying a new car- feels good at the time, but oh man does the payback last forever...

I'm done with the brake fluid and chlorox thing, you know quit while your ahead, And all those sx's you and alot of us have we must be making them up. So when people come here talking about their sides we should tell them ain't so.

Dyce was on last night kinda getting his but kicked. But he must be making it up.

I love you Can do Man give me a hug and give Beagle a kiss. Just the other day I thought how great it is to have these aching legs and the screamers all night. My cloud gets more fluffy each day and the evening fever is so refreshing once it breaks and I turn the ceiling fan on. I can't wait to force feed myself each day and the feel of those wonderful oatmeal flakes on my mouth sores, The cutting the new holes in my belt is extra fun too! Who's your daddy.

The trick to the chlorox and brake fluid is amonia and an enema bag. Your buddy can still help though but the driveway may draw unwanted attention. Dale

If people only want to hear the good and not the wealth of info here, like i said theres sites where everything is love, hugs, and kisses abound. And fancy dancing sigs. that great. For me not into that and would rather here the good the bad and the ugly.

and I think very few people who don't have side effects or issues post..... Don't agree there, been here to long and when we put out a sos foe someone who hasn't posted in a while its usually because their not up to it.

And i hope you are one that has few sides, but as tx goes on for most people it gets worse. Hair, out of breath and all. This is serious meds were using.

who read this site, don't post their positive experinces.... There are many here who are done treating who come here and post their positive experinces.

Only hoping you the best, but to think it won't get worse, the odds are it will. Theres some of us here that might feel like cr*p but still post tring to keep others spirits up.

I never said, if your talking about me, to only post the positive! what i said is that the majority of what is posted tends to be issues that we are dealing with (which tend to be side effects) and I think very few people who don't have side effects or issues post.

Which is not to say people who have issues don't also post positive things as well.

I can tell you that when I first came to this site what i read here scared the hell out of me. I expected to be bald in a week, to not be able to walk across the room with out being out of breath, to be nothing but skin and bones, to be screaming at everyone I came into contact with and god knows what else.

The truth is, as a  few have stated, I have had good days and bad days which can change from hour to hour. But mostly for me the side effects have not been anywhere as near, so far, as I expected. My point is that I bet a lot of people who end up not needing advice, who read this site, don't post their positive experinces.

Hey there, we were seeing if we could make smoke by using chlorox and break fluid. algernon said you could. Least we didn't need no outlet to amuse our selfs. :)
