Feeling okay

WOW! I was ssso cccold lllast nnnight. I had my first injection around 3:30pm. Other than a nasty headache I wasnt feeling bad. Went to bed around 9 and woke up around 11 and couldn't get warm. My gosh I dont think I've ever been that cold. I am usually warm and need to turn ac down but not last night. I finally took a tylonol pm and started to feel better about 45 min. later. Is that the last of the rigors or will I get them every night or just after each injection?

All people have differnt reactions, I had chills a couple of times and they left after awhile. Try takin your tylenol 2hrs before shot and closer to your bed time that way you can sleep thru sides----maybe!!! take care.

Hi
I'm on Pegasys, 3-rd week. Was feeling cold only after the first shot. The day after the shot I get fever and headache that last for 24-36 hours. Take Tylenol, that should help.

the only thing that helped me with the chills was to stick a heating pad in the bed with me.  If my neck and feet are warm, than my whole body is warm!

The first shot was my worst and it should get better.  I took my tylenol 10 minutes before my shot, and it help.  I wish you the best on tx and no sides of course.

I thought Tylenol wasn't good for you.......I thought it was better to take asprin or advil......not to take anything with acetmentaphine  (SP)I am scheduled to have blood drawn and biopsy next month.....reading all about things here makes me sort of afraid of the TX!  I will definitely rely on this forum for support  ......Deb

I had chills my first shot also, and that was the only time. Make sure you take a tylenol pm an hour before you do your shot and then you'll sleep like a baby all night.

Most doctors reccommend either tyelenol or ibuprofen.  Interferon can screw up your platelet count and aspirin can aggravate that effect.
