Is this bad for you?

One day at work a coworker of mine decided to take a dare and drank an entire 16 ounce bottle of vinegar.  He drank one one sip of water during the entire process. He also wound up throwing up for quite some time.  Is this bad for him?

yes, you are correct, the 6 mo post tx thing is the true SVR so I may have to clarify that on there.  It is an unofficial site, not scientificly true and accurate, it is purely hearsay, what folks tell me is what I post. And I am sure there are nonresponders who dont post they didnt make it, for their personal reasons.  It is my own journal/diary kind of thing to keep track of my fellow Heppers/Warriors.  I do want to keep it as credible as possible, so, thanks for your ideas!

Yep, you are right, its 60/60........sorry MY brain fog thought it was when you first were undetected. I was at week 24. Well DUH to me!....My first week-end with NO shot!  I would do a dance but I would have to rest afterwards, LOL......

Someone should do a site maybe on whats it like each week after completing tx? So the others on tx will know what maybe to expect? Like when your normal self will return? My doctor told me that the jury is still out on long-term effects of Interferon, so we should maybe band together and let each other know how and what we are still feeling or not feeling? Just a thought for this brain-fog person.

I am going out of town tomorrow for a week with my hubby and when I get back I will post how my first week off tx was like. Sure would like to know how Galen's first week goes as well :) Anyone else complete tx recently?  I'm wondering if there is any 'de-tox' from tx?   Thanks to all of you for being here! Even tho I am hopefully finished...I intend on staying!

OHC,

You said in a post above "I put SVR after the newly finished folks, cuz like mofosr said SVRATT (SVR at this time) Being able to finish and have an undetected status is a big happy flag to be waving".

Yes, finishing tx with an undetected status is definitely something to be happy about.  However, your site is misleading people in to thinking that there are so many SVR's when in fact they will not be SVR until they remain undetected for 6 months post tx.  Waiting 6 months post tx to claim SVR is the standard throughout the medical community.

To give your site credibility, you may want to consider not posting SVR until these folks have waited 6 months and remain undetected.

Hi all,
I've been reading posts on this site for about 2 months or so and really have not posted anything. All of you have been such an insperation to me I am f/44 on wk 27/48 geno 1a Peg-Intron and Rebetol combo started out with viral count of 10 million Liver damage 3-2. It was less than 5 or undectable at 12 weeks!!! Had gallbladder out at week 17. I was sooo sick from the 1st shot until recovery from gallbladder surgery. I was on a/d before starting tx. Had to change it 4 times since, My sides have been really tough. Wanted to quit twice (around week 24) But reading all of your posts and with a very supporting family, I'm gonna make it through. Thank you to all of you!!!

Good luck and stick around, you have alot of knowledge on this subject, and you can still help out alot of people here, good luck and thank's for all the info and help you have given me-- HD

Nice website there. I forgot to give you my genotype (duh). Its 1b, which is a good part of why I'm not treating yet. I would have filled out the form, but I wasn't sure if that would add me as a duplicate (and one of me is enough I say!).
