Skin- ITCHY ITCHY ITCHY

way
Hello again!

Well I went to a different dermatoligist a real one who deals with skin problem and not just laser stuff and botox.

What a difference!!

Scalp---
She said my scalp was infected and gave me some antibiotics for that (bactrim).
She also gave some samples of stuff for scalp that really worked in less than two days. It's called "DermaSmoothe". It's an oil that you put on your scalp at bedtime and then a shower cap and another sample of a shampoo called "Loprox" to wash out the oil with and leave on 3-5 min. Guys THIS WORKED!!!!!!!!

Skin---
She did a skin scraping to rule out scabies then gave me a coritsone shot. Then she rx'd "clobetasol 0.05%" cream for body and "fluticasone 0.05%" cream for face.

The cream for face seems to be working especially for the red patches that had started cracking and flaking. They are almost  gone. Body is a different story I am STILL itching so bad.

I noticed a couple of places on my arm that have a pronounced ring and depressed white area in the center--so now I'm thinking ringworm. (TOO)I have some econizole and am dotting it on just those areas that look like rings forming. I have a call back in to the derm to see if this is OK to do- but I googled it and that's what it's for. I already had it for tinea versicolor.

ITCHING---
OMG this is SOOOO bad it's driving me crazy. IS THIS NORMAL FOR RIBA RASH?????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Ice you say?? I would go into hyperthermia using the amount it would take to keep me from scratching. And doesn't just itch in one place.

If he won't give you one, you can borrow one of mine from this pasat year.  I've had several including plaque psoriasis,  guttate psoriasis, plantar pustular psoriasis, sebopsoriais, Seborrhoeic Dermatitis, contact dermatitis, rosacea, steroid rosacea and cutaneous t-cell lymphoma. Surely I can spare one or two for a friend.

Wow.

I WAS originally going to make this entire thread "TO YOU" with my queries (or lesbianies?)but didn't want to break them ruels.

Hello, guess what? I did actually break down and read the distructions. I figured it couldn't hurt, and may even get a laugh--like so it says "RUB ON BODY 2X/day" But it was alittle more enlightening. It said Wash hands before and after- apply a thin film and rub in completely. DO NOT DRESS.

OK to go to work like that, and bring the instructions>

I also have itching.  My doctor prescribed Triamcinolon.  It's a type of steriod cream in a tube.  It works wonders on the itching.  Hope this helps.  Hang in there.

Fourth paragraph should read in part:

In fact some dermatologists will never prescribe any steroids for the face, even from Group VII.

Thanks guys...

Derm just called going back to get another booster cort shot and some stronger ointment and some samples(cream for itching).

I take benedryl or was until this other derm put me on aterax and since that is an antihistimine I didn't know was safe to take to together. Derm called as I said and said can take benedryl and aterax until sleepy.

I have the gold bond and now five rx creams (6 soon), the gold bond might work if you catch it early enough but after inflamation sets in --it's WAY too strong. It burns.

Gotta drive feel-- sorry for those people on the road.
