Transmission Scenario

deep throat kissing with a stranger - a lose metallic cap for an old root canal covered a rotten tooth(mainly skin growth)- no bleeding during the time of kissing - gulped a beer pint after kissing - maybe irritated the metallic cap on top of rottern tooth & opened a fresh cut an hr or so later - also brushed 7-8 hrs later causing few nicks

possibilities of hcv infection as I have heard hcv can stay alive for upto 4 days on environmental surfaces?

My worry: If hcv virus got rubbed into the wound that might have opened up later due to the metallic cap for old root canal or gotten into the nicks and cuts we get after brushing my teeth 8-10 hrs later..

Kindly, make me a little informative about this risk scenario..

Thanks.

P.S: I am asking this question in this forum because french kissing is a sexual activity and this is a transmission related question which can not be answered elsewhere...

Same answers as you already got on the other thread still apply today.
Worry more about chlamydia and STDs you do not have HepC once again to reiterate that fact. Again.

Forget about the HCV risk - not even worth stressing about, but it's likely you may have more of a problem with the rotten tooth - inflammation and infection. Now THAT'S something to be concerned about! Also makes kissing so much more enjoyable without the bad breath that often accompanies bad teeth. A trip to the dentist seems in order..........
