TODAY WAS MY 4Th dose still ok, no nausea or any thing, sure would be great if it would stay this way I do my regular routine just don't play tennis because of sun exposure, sooo glad that I waited for these new tx could not see taking the interferon crab they where trying to push them on me and I refused to take them, hopefully we will be able to be cured and live a normal life again good luck to everyone to defeat this awful virus
Been taking for 2 weeks and first few days had a slight headache and backache. My hep C RNA Quant/Det Serum dropped from 143,000 to 44. That is wild. My liver enzymes are normal for the first time since 1990
I took this product, Solaray Ginger Trips (wafers or gumlets) and it really helped with the times I had nausea or digestion problems (and dizziness) been taking them for years. But I only experienced nausea in the first month or so, then it pretty much resolved, these drugs play out differently on everyone. You can buy them online and they are really cheap. You have to have a lot of ginger to do the trick, some people use raw ginger to make tea....This was easier for me.
I was just told by the dispensing pharmacy who handles the combo that it doesn't really matter what time you pick, as long as you take them together and that you do it at about the same time every day (or night). And I always take most any meds after a meal, as I hate meds hitting my bare stomach lining, not good for me (or most people, I should think) and I'm still undetected...We'll see after the 12th week, fingers crossed for all of us!
MY SECOND DOSE doing my regular routine of exercise which is an hour in the morning and 1 hour at night after taking my meds , so far so good, but I was told not to be too comfortable not enough in the system yet, I keep feeling I should be miserable but I am not sofar, just a little headache not enough to take anything for it , so on to another day, thank god there is something to beat this
How are you doing? This is my third day and I am taking them in the mornings. I am trying to get more exercise in as well. I have a dog to walk and I have a recumbent bike. So far it has been great, no feeling of taking history making treatment medications. Lets beat this thing and best of luck to all of us starting on this healing journey!
I took mine last night about 20 minutes after the meal, no problem so far no problem sleeping either keeping fingers crossed, I am keeping a journal of progress, I did 40 minutes walking after taking meds on my walker so maybe that helped too, good luck to you too will be cool to beat this thing, chris
Hi, Congrats. I got mine yesterday and started this morning. I took both with food around 10 AM. Everything is great so far. Nurse said I could take in the evening but did not want to have insomnia so I started this morning and they have not made me tired in the least, feels right. There is quite a few of us that are starting and this is a great forum so just keep in mind we are in this together. Good Luck! We'll be fine.
thanks for good advise, today will be my first day, will take it after meal tonight like you said and my doc agreed with your schedule. got tp be better than the old meds and hopefully has less side effects. will post my findings, chris
Stay waaaaaaay outa the sun. Night tennis would be your only answer.
Also, take after food. It takes 20 mins for the food to reach the stomach, and you will feel much better. Nausea will tend to not occur with food, and will also keep your blood sugar more controlled. Protein with your med meal helps regulate glucose so follow this routine if so inclined. These items include dairy, nuts, chicken, fish, cheese, yogurt, raisens, peanut butter a must, bagels with cream cheese, ect. You don't need to make your entire meal protein, but include a couple bites of some. It's actually wise to do this with all meals, but most importantly when it's med times.
Should you have other questions, please know we have been where you are and can help you along the way.
My best
...Kim
thanks for info. the pharmacy said I could take them apart like the sovaldi in the morning and olysio at night, doc said I could take them together either before a meal or right after so I will do like you take them together, guess I will have to not play tennis for a while, again the pharmacy said should be no problem, but everything I read says not to be in the sun, go figure,
Yes, you take them together. They peak in your blood stream I believe within an hour or two from taking them. I took them at 6:30PM, so after work, with food and worked out pretty much around 8 or 9 every evening. Some take them at bedtime so if there are side effects you sleep through them. Really depends if you are working or how you react to the meds IMO. Like most recommend stay out of the sun and drink lots of water.
Wow I think your the third person today to get meds . Congrats .many here who can answer your question. Did you not get any instructions from your medical support?
