Good mornin everyone.Its the day I start my treatments, I will be taking my first part of it by taking my Ribo in like 25min. Will be taking my first shot tonight at 9pm. Well wish me luck...Have a great day eveyone. I WILL!!!

You did it, your starting. I think that is the hardest part. I am waiting, waiting and start September. My biggest fear is getting all the fat in my body at 6 am. HA!  totally forgot about the shot I have to do....

i think the whole thing scares everyone, not knowing what to expect and the thought that there is a creepy virus in our blood. I start soon, but i know we can do this. it helps to have all these great peoples support. I am a sick person as it is. I was in a snowmobile accident and now am paralized. I am always in pain and sick.  I know this treatment will be hard on me and all of us.  We can do this. Goodluck all

good luck to you!  I will be starting within the next couple of weeks, hopefully.  in reading through these posts, sometimes it's overwhelming about all the different side effects i may potentially experience.  i have to keep positive, as well as being prepared... i know that i probably won't get every single sx, but sometimes my brain works overtime...lol

So, did you do your belly or your thigh....just curious.  I haven't decided yet myself.  Thigh def has more fat.

Ya i did pretty good just kinda jerked when I first poked me cause I thought it would hurt but it didnt...dont really like needles...guess i will learn to  HEHE thanks and good night

You can do your shot anywhere there's fat. When I was on infergen it was a daily shot and after a while you had to find other places to shoot it because you got sore, thighs, butt, stomach or arms. My hep says as long as it's in fat. Good luck, don't get discouraged after first shot usually the worst take some aleve or advil a couple hours after first shot to get a head start on the sides. Joe

Well i would say so far so good but I havent done anythingexcept take my 2 pills this morn. I did have a headche and its KINDA still there but for the most part its gone with a little help from Tylenol LOL but really I will be taking my first shot in 40 min...phewww...getting nervous now..Hope it goes over without a hitch. Does everytine give the ***** in there belly? Thats where i was shown to do it but I heard you can do in your thigh..what would ya'll suggest? Thanks for any input..
