How you feel will depend on your body's specific response to the medications. I hope you will have minor side effects. Your fitness will help as you will not have other issues to complicate side effects at the start.. I finished tx last year so i have no experience with the new medications, but i would encourage you to give yourself as much attention as you give others and stay rested for a good start. Good Luck! You are doing the right thing to just do it and get rid of hepatitis c if you can.
I took my third shot today at 2 o'clock went to the gym and worked out right after the shot. The hardest part of working out is getting there once you I get there and start excerising I feel great. The first is was the worst felt like the flu take a couple of advil a couple of hours after the shot before the sides kick in it seems to help. The hardest part is eating then 20 grams of fat but you start to get used to it. I started drinking a protein shake with whole milk and a tablespoon of peanut butter I figure about 30 grams of fat and much easier to drink. The side for everyone is different but I think if your in good health and you excerise now your side will be much easier.
Good luck
Joe
As you HGB drops so does your endurance and energy. It's doesn't happen right away. Yesterday was my first shot for this 3 tx with incevik. I was tired today, but will go to the gym. I also run each morning, but I know I will get slower and slower as time goes on. Everyone does react differently but fatigue is pretty common as anemia is a popular side effect. Just take it one day at a time.
During my last treatment I did have a reaction the next day from the shot, flu like symptoms managed by over the counter meds. Never happened again. So far today no flu symptoms from last nights first shot. At least not yet.

Wow Bless your heart! Triplet boys.. I haven't started yet either, several newbies have started and several of the veterans are treating again with the new drugs. I am sure someone will answer you soon, I do know some people have some sides, some have them light, or hard and some do quite well. I am hoping mine will be minimal. My doc said the same as Fireman79s doc, the day after the first shot is the worse and then should get easier. Hope he is right. anyway someone with more knowledge will chime in. Welcome to the forum.
maybe start an ad now....some have a lot of sx and some can go through tx without much of anything....i would be prepared either way....three 9 year olds????..hope you have help.....billy
