Starting week 9 no rash

I met with mayo today and asked if the rash hasn't shown up yet, will it?  I was told very unlikely, they haven't seen it.  So that's good to know.  Also I've been feeling so fatigued and thought for sure my HGB was below 10, but it was 10.3.  I'm taking a day off work tomorrow and may take one day off a week until done with Telaprevir.  Can you imagine, looking forward to SOC?

Sounds like you are getting set to be the first one here to buck the trend and tell us about it.  The anecdotal evidence collected here is not scientific but can be surprisingly accurate.  If it isn't then the sooner we know the better.

Fingers crossed you never see that nasty rash,

Well now, this is interesting.  I am fair to medium skinned,( but I am able to tan well, as long as I don't burn first)  blue eyed and I have not gotten an Incivek rash...yet.  I am in the middle of week 6.
Let's see what happens....

Good info.... had not ever ran across this info yet.
Thanks!

Thanks for the info.  So far I have only heard of fair skinned and light eyes / hair people getting the rash.  I got it and I am fair skinned, green eyes, dark blonde hair.  The other one in my group who got it was also fair.

hrsepwrguy - the anecdotal evidence says you'll be ok with your coloring.  Also, the rash came on at week 2 for the two of us in my group who got it.

Congratulations on dodging that bullet.  You lucked out.

As a matter of interest, is your skin tone light or dark, hair, eyes?  I ask because we only have anecdotal evidence of who gets the rash and this seems to be a factor.

thanks,
dointime.

I am also week 10 Incivek and only had slight rash on one arm and top of thigh, some cortisone took care of that , looked like very dry spots. I wounder if people are confusing the Riba rash, which is little tiny bumps you can feel but not see that itch like crazy.

Good to hear and interesting you folks don't have the dreaded Tela(INCI) rash that we were all  concerned about before the release.
It seems it has not reared its ugly head anywere near what was  reported from trials...at least not on this forum anyway.
Good luck ..
