Does having HCV prevent your ability to move to Europe?

I came here to ask this question because I trust my fellow dragon-slayers more than anyone else as far as correct info.  I haven't been around MedHelp for a while.  I've had HepC 1b 34 years, failed all 3 treatments, not eligible for anything using interferon as I developed retinal hemorrhaging on last treatment 5 years ago.  I'd like to move out of the U.S. permanently and wondered if anyone knows if you can be refused a visa or foreign residency if you have chronic HepC.  It's not on the visas I've looked at so I guess it's okay, but I just don't want to get my hopes up and find out my application for residency, etc. is refused.  I'm also concerned about calling the ambassador and they wouldn't have known if I hadn't opened my big mouth.  Any ideas?

My question actually is whether HCV makes you ineligible for a visa, like TB does in some countries.  How to actually get there I'm working on, but I can't find any info that prohibits people with HCV from moving outside the U.S.  Thanks.

You will likely find it easier to go with a job that brings you there. As for sharing unecessary personal information with anyonbe in the government, think otherwise.
