TX in Leg or Belly

Well i started the Treatment back in may 9 of this year and my viral load started at 4460000 and for the first 24 shots i put them into my legs and they were starting to bother me there with the rash and itching and my viral came down to 50200 as of 8-4

I was to scared to do my belly. So I decided to start the belly shot on my 25 shot and as of now my viral has dropped to 4140 as of 11-4 and my doc has said it alot better to do the belly because it gets into the blood faster then the legs so any turth in that?? Belly better or legs ??

I switched to my belly at about shot 8 because someone said  nuropathy could result from hitting the same spot. So I traverse the belly with the peg and inject the other **** anywhere in the thighs. Thighs are especially appropriate for the procrit since that bruises about half the time and I like to be able to remove my shirt without looking too gross.

Actually, I'd like to be able to drop trowe without looking too gross too, but alas those days are a few years behind me it seems. Unlike wine, not everything improves with age.

On the rude front, I lost weight last year, but have been stable for 6+ mos. I get seemingly constant comments about loosing weight.

You don't have Aids or something?

Sorry to say your pain made me smile ;-) cause these sticks are just ridiculous. I think my knees are the biggest part of them now - no more skirts for a while, thank God it's winter.

I have 2 appx 2in x 2in areas, 1 to each side of and below my belly button. Just enough meat to get a good grip. Figure tip of needle is so small there must be a few hundred places in those areas to go. I have alternated left to right each of the 12 weeks. Haven't noticed any bruising or rashing. Always wondered though,looking at the diagrams in the pegasys lit- its about the same as I do- but- they say avoid waistline. As an artist with lots of my training in anatomy and drawing the human figure(yeah Goof, lottsa nudes in school), and as a former clothing salesman at hottest 'boutique in it's day, I aways considered that area part the waistline. 1st shot nite I looked at it, shrugged, and jabbed.

**(Goof-early 70's and 98% of customers were 15 to 30 yro females on the nightclub circuit, I was 21 and single...you know the routine, "WOW miss,why you look wonderful all dressed up, now you just need a place to go.."  worst paying greatest job I ever had. Gave up a good paying construction job for that one, my buddies thought I was crazy. Crazy yes, stupid no. Parentheses not wide enough for a face that happy!

Great name, youre included in Napolean Dynamite too, he he he! Anyway, thanks for that, whenever I hear of all these people injecting, I wonder why they don't do it in the tush. That's where I have the most fat..thanks for your honesty, it sometimes floors me how honest and forthcoming so many of us are with each other on these boards...I guess having a potentially deadly disease we can cut right to the chase, why sweat the small stuff??Anyway, are you off the meds now? Okay Goof, we are all impressed by your solid gold nipple rings (the linking chains are a bit much though) but now please, put your shirt back on...but honestly folks..where are you supposed to inject these things? I copy the threads I consider important for future relevancy...What occurs to me is shooting it in the old behind, lots of cushion...why not there?

I'm sure everyone has heard that they are presently making larger needles for the American market....but that's for shooting something else...

I don't think it matters where you put the shot, but I tell my stomach is getting sore; and I have no other fat. Tonite is shot nite and I'm dreading it.
DS I hope you don't mind me asking about your tx protocol and if your doc has discussed any numbers with. Are you a type 1, if you clear soon are you going to extend tx.   Peace
