Hi, just wanted to aplogize for my sillyness on this thread...weekend you know....I just wanted to emphasize that it seems a few of us here would really like to know about this fibroscan test in Los Angeles, (if we meet with criteria standands of course)...I think SFbaygirl mentioned that she might know how to contact you, I will look into this...anyway, once again, thanks so much for all your help....whether I am able to obtain the fibroscan or not...

Jim lol too funny!! Hey btw, you sound like you got it going on,,winning those endurance tests over the young boys, plus your looking to get your wash board abs back,,yeah yeah, your paintin' a picture for the girls on forum, I'm on to ya,,,better watch out one of the single girls on board is gonna get ya. I took my vows, else I'd be knocking at your door too, oh well.

yes child24,,,,, Rev does sounds like he's the romantic type, but i'm a married woman and plus I have voted Republican too many times for Rev to like me as a girlfriend,I think he forgot to mention in his ad, NO Republicans Need Apply. lol I'd be afraid that walk on the beach would end with me being drowned.lol Although I don't like George W anymore, maybe that would hold some weight, but then again, it may not. But married, so can't anyhow.

see ya later.

Goof, had to chew on this awhile, I think so much depends on the disparity of pay between the two jobs, and I'm not so rude as to ask questions like that! believe it or not...and youre a really smart guy, for all you know, something even better than both these offers are just around the corner, you haven't even been offa tx for that long...headhunters are out there! there are so many arguments on both sides...guess we all just want you to be happy, as youre gettin' weller and weller!

You wrote originally

one last question for now and probably the most important for me, if you had HCV with a high VL (10 mil +), little liver damage, normal labs

Then you wrote
not sure if i understood your reply to me. maybe you or perhaps jim could explain, you wrote:
Should you not treat now you need to follow ALTs and maybe Fibrosure from time to time, to catch the drift.
One last thing if your VL is " >10 " you need to find out how high it really is. It might be 50 Million and that would be of some importance to know. Since you have "normal labs" how do you know you have "little liver damage"?

as i posted before my "labcorp quantasure plus" pcr's were,
6/06- 9 million, 8/2006- 19 million (after hep a vac), 10/2006- 12 million.

i did not have a biopsy but my fibrosure test showed F0 & A1, no fibrosis & minimal activity

i'm kind of puzzled at what your wrote in the last paragraph about it could be 50 million and how do i know i have little damage. what did you mean i need to find out how high it really is? i did 3 pcr's in the last 6 months, is this not accurate enough? and i thought you said the fibrosure was a good test for fibrosis? thanks again

CLARIFICATION: I took the notation you used above  "10 mil +" to mean that you had a VL results report that stated > 10 Million. Often labs do that if you exceed their dynamic range. In your case I overlooked that you had previously reported 3 VL the last beeing 12 Mil and that was the one that you called 10 mil. +.

I sent my email to Kalio1. He can forward it to you. I would need  to discuss it with every individual if it would be meaningful to use the scan.It might take a while.
