I've only been on tx for about 3 months...I'd say I'm doing good. I haven't missed a day of work so far. I lost a little weight but hey that's not always a bad thing! :-) I really haven't had to change much in my life. Everyone is different but some fair pretty well. I'd say put your mind to it!
Good Luck to you!
Sides effects are different for everyone. Alot of people are able to mange their sides with safety meds or with just some life style changes. I am Geno 1week 25. i have good weeks and bad weeks, but somehow and with the help of all the people here you push through it. there are many here who still work full time too!
I would educate myself on the TX. Know what questions to ask and what your test results mean. Speak to your dr. about manging your sides.
Good luck! and perhaps your sides will be minimal...
peace

Welcome to the forum! You have come to the best hep c forum on the net. There are many knowledgeable and amazing ppl here.
From what I understand, every one reacts differently to treatment. Some get really ill, with all side effects mentioned, others get some side effects, or not so severe and others fly through treatment. You can never know how you will react, until you get there. I have not started treating, yet, but I am preparing myself for the worst. If it won't be as bad as I expect, I will be happy. If it will be as bad, I will at least be prepared for it.
We have some pages on the health pages (you can find on the upper corner to your right) with some suggestions of DO's on TX(treatment) and DON'Ts on TX, Rescue Drugs on TX and other suggestions. They might be helpful to you.
All the best,
Marcia
