Cepatitis C Quantitative rencent test - SCARED

I recently had an 8 panel test and and saw that HSV1 was value .95 range <.90.  was early after possible exposure and i still have symptoms.  I am fearful that I have it.  Also, HSV was value .90 with range of <.90.  They were listed as HSV1 - equivocal and HSV2 - negative respectively.  The test was at the 3 or 4 week mark.  The more i research the more I believe I am infected and that the test were to early to really tell

NOW, a new scare hit me as i read the test results.  Hepatitis C Quantitative was .01 with a range of <1.0

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THAT MEANS?

Im not sure about the HSV1 HSV2(Herpes Simplex Virus) test's you had. Sorry.

You said your Hepatitis C tests was a Quantitative however the range you listed sounds more like an antibody test.

The quantitative HCV RNA tests measure the amount of hepatitis C virus in the blood. The result will be an exact number, such as "1,215,422 IU/L." Many people refer to the quantitative measurement as the hepatitis C "viral load."

.01 would not be a reading for a Quantitative test....that sounds more like an antibody test result. (In which you would have tested negative)
