Interaction of drugs for hep C

I take tegratol & epilem to keep my epilepsy under control.  I am thinking about taking a course of interferon & ribaviron for my hepatitis C.  Do these drugs clash with each other, or can I take both at the same time

There is no interaction between Pegasys and Tegretol. But I would check with a Dr about the use of Interferons and Epilepsy.

Sorry I couldn't be more help....

It's definitely best to run any possible drug interaction questions by your doctor(s) and your pharmacist. It also may be a good idea to call up each individual drug manufacturer and ask them what they have on file about possible interactions with the other meds you are on.
