How much is a 2 logs VL drop?

How much is a 2 logs VL drop?
On the body.com the docs are saying you should get it in 12 weeks of TX

I can relate to being "weepy".  That seems to be my middle name, lol.

One thing that occurred to me was that my doctor did caution me to not stop taking Paxil suddenly.  I needed to taper off.  Take 1/2 dose for a week, then 1/2 dose every other day for a week, then stop.  Maybe that's why you are feeling weepy right now ... the sudden stopping of Paxil - ?

Don't be down on yourself.  We are all in the same boat here.  One may lose hair, another may cry a lot, another may yell, and yet another may be able to laugh their whole way through tx.  But we are all here for the same reason - to do battle with The Dragon and to win that battle.

Just keep on keeping on.  I have had some of the worst days of my life since beginning treatment.  But you know something, it makes the good days all the more sweeter when they come.

I was only on 20 but it made me really lethargic at first and I had to take it at night = then lately it made the brain fog just so much WORSE. I think it took away any semblance of personality that I have and honestly even though I wasn't eating anything I was not losing weight. I think it really was screwing me up.

Not that I was trying to LOSE weight but something is wrong when you are NOT but you are eating fruits and veggies instead of all the good old fattening junk but staying the same.

I might have to go back on it now though or get something else.  I notice I am really weepy for no reason at all the last two days.

I just want to cut out any pills i can at this point you know? I hate them.  I want a magic pill that makes me feel perfect and no more needles!   :)

Just called and asked them to please fax my 4week PCR results. I am hoping they are in...I just about can't handle the waiting anymore. Responder? Non-responder? 2log drop? Undetectible...so many many words flying around it's CRAZY!

Maybe this wasn't the right week to go off those Paxills' but I hated them.  They made me some brain dead!

Adding them to the bitchovirins just really made me nothing but a stupid b*tch.  I'd rather be depressed!  ;-)

How much Paxil were you taking a day?  I'm on 30 mg and can't even tell I'm on anything.  Have absolutely no side effects.  Just wondering what your dosage was.

In order to know what the 2 log drop is you have to have a pretreatment VL - and you said you don't have one.  You were 7,000,000 at 20 weeks.  A 2 log drop from there would be 70,000

Take away two noughts from the baseline viral load i.e
Viral load 1,000,000 one 1og drop is 100,000.
2 log drop is 10,000.

Remove the last two digits of your viral load ... each digit is a log.

My baseline VL was 1,300,000 ... take away two zeros and my 2 log drop would be 13,000.

(By the way, I didn't know that answer either for a long time, 'cause I was embarassed to ask.  Good that you were smart enough to ask!)
