admirable! what a good feeling to see that negative after the tx torture. a sense of accomplishment for sure
That's wonderful news! Just read somewhere that clearing 3-month post tx is about as accurate as 6 months. In fact, this particular study wanted to change to the def of "SVR" to 3-months post treat clearance. That means you're like 99% home free! Hopefully the thyroid will bounce back as it often does.
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats again!!
Do you remember what your 4 week PCR results were? Because my numbers were similar to yours pre-tx. I am 1a, 2.7 million VL and my 4 week PCR was 178,000. I am in my 6th week...
Great news! Things are looking very good for you and I wish you the best luck. Mike
Congraulations. There is something at the end of the Rainbow.

Congrats on a well earned SVR. frank
GREAT NEWS! Tx is a tough struggle....but SVR makes it worthwhile.
Best luck to all,

Contratulations. You give us hope.
Congratulations!!
That is just great news
Ah, my treatment sister, well done! It was Cuteus who posted that 3 months study and it could well be that you've made it to the top of the SVR mountain. Must feel incredible. I opted to do 60 weeks, so I havethree shots left and believe me, your news has given me a real lift this morning. Take care of yourself and have a simply wonderful virus-free life.

The most heartfelt congratulations. May you only get healthier. You're giving hope to all of us out here.
So glad you're clear! Thank you for all your info & reminders on this forum about getting your thyroid checked during treatment. I sure hope your thyroid function returns to normal.
May you have peace after this hard time,

Truly wonderful news: take it to the finish line!!!!!!!
Hooray for you!! As other people wrote, the 3 month is now being considered as reliable as the 6 month. So consider yourself cured!! You really deserve this. I continue to be appreciative of the information and knowledge you shared with me early on. Thank you and all the best.
Excellent news! You must be dancing in the clouds. Get out and celebrate : ) Awesome seeing another type 1 hit SVR.
Wonderful news!! Sounds like you are on the right path for the virus to be gone! ha Hope you get your thyroid straightened out and continue to feel better day by day. Tx is starting to seem like we came out of a daze huh? LOL More like a nightmare daze! There is so much of that is starting to fade but one thing that is not fading is,,,,,I know that I don't want to do it again! Take Care!
So happy for you. It must be so wonderful to get that kind of news. Wahoo, you did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is hope for all of us. Enjoy your newfound freedom. Judi
Yessssss!!!! congratulations.
"There is no cure. Genotype 1 is the hardest to beat" HA !!!!!!
Were showing them !!!!!!! Don't tell us we can't beat this disease. I am so happy for you.
Congrats....well done!!! Hope you feel better and better every day and may God bless.
There is hope and I wanted to share it. As I kept my health status relatively private I didn't have many to share my good news with. Thank you all everyone for the support. :)))))
jmjm--I am glad to hear the 3 month PCR puts me in the 99% range, I will get another PCR in January, then in a year, then perhaps it will be put to a final rest. I hope the thyroid comes back as it is a pain to deal with, but "doable" as we say. LOL
Califia--3 shots left? Almost there. I will be looking for your post on how your health improves after tx. All of a sudden someone will say, hey, your skin looks better, you will find sudden energy and a sense of caring about things again. Congrats on getting to the finish.
IWillbeatHCV--my only PCR was at 12 weeks during tx which was undetected and then the 3 month post-tx PCR. I pray undetected on your next PCR.
Extra prayers for those who have relapsed and I hope those "new drugs down the pipeline" get here soon to help erradicate this bug.
