Maybe someone else on the forum will have a better answer than mine, but my husband began his triple therapy all one one day:
8 AM: Incivek
10 AM: Ribavirin
2 PM: weekly Peg Interferon injection
4 PM: Incivek
8 PM: Ribavirin
12:00 AM: Incivek
We chose Friday as his injection day, because he works swing shift and based on previous two therapies we knew that by doing his injection at 2 PM on a Friday, the side effects would kick in late during his work shift and he would have more time over the weekend to rest. So, he started everything on a Friday, ended Incivek on a Thursday night 12 weeks later, and then we were able to shift his medication schedule around without the Incivek so that he wouldn't have to get up so early for his morning meds. Here is the schedule he is following now:
10 AM: Ribavirin
2 PM: weekly Peg Interferon injection
9 PM: Ribavirin
I hope this helps. The timing may be different for Victrelis, but I think the general principle is the same.

Thanks for your reply's, however maybe my question wasn't more specific. What I mean is should I miss my first morning dose of RV on that first day of treatment with Peg/Int/Riba being that I'm starting in the evening with it?
When I began tx this time I asked my nurse about taking the 2nd riba dose earlier because of having problems sleeping.
She told me many of her patients on triple therapy take the 2nd dose with lunch.
It has a long half life and there is no need at all, to take it 12 hours apart.
I take the first dose with breakfast between 8--9 and the second with lunch between 1-2. I've run the time frame by my doctor, and he's fine with it.
Now, I sleep like a baby, who gets up a lot to use the bathroom and drink water.
Hey there! Thank you I guess I did not think about the fact that it builds up i the system so back to the drawing board, maybe more melatonin :)
Thank you so much
Dee
Dee once it builds up it really is a pain to sleep for some, I'd definitely switch it but not sure it will do too much difference (at least on SOC it didn't).
Thank you so much for the explanation, I appreciate
Not sure if the Riba is affecting my sleep, it did not when I was on Incivek however I am going to try taking at dinner rather than bedtime to see if that helps
You have really helped me today and I appreciate
Dee
Congratulations on getting started. I am doing Victrelis too.
"P/R at 9pm" Does this mean Peg/Ribavirin?
My Schedule is:
5am - VIC
7am - Riba
1pm - Vic
7pm - Riba
9pm - Vic
I do the PegIntron at 8pm Friday nights.
Some members say the ribaviri affects their sleep and they must do it earlier. It doesn't bother me at all. The VIC has to be taken every 8 hours with a window of 1 hour as it does not stay in the system long. You have more flexibility with the Ribavirin since, once it builds up in your system which takes a few weeks, it stays at a pretty constant serum level. Thus you can be a little more flexible. I still try to keep it 12 hours apart, but a lot of members do it with the PI.
Good luck
