4 month post TX and any other questions

Hi all in the family,
Just got off the phone with my GI. My 3.5 month PCR Heptimax came back and I'm un-detectable. Next check will be in September.
Is it 3 month or 6 months before I can declare SVR??? Everyone on TX hand in there. It's a tough trip but in the long run the fight for life is worth it.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

GREAT, GREAT NEWS!!!

The docs give it 6 months post-tx to 'officially' declare an SVR. Your odds of coming back clear at 6 months are FANTASTIC!!!

So much good news this week!!!

Great News! Your chances now are excellent because it seems like most people that relapse do so in first few weeks. Now just have 6 month mark and you should be home free! Best Wishes!

oaky-doaky okie! Sounds like you are on the road to SVR. I believe if you are also clear in 6 months there is a 99% chance of being SVR. Very nice.

Terrific news OkieJim! I've been off tx for 10 weeks, but my doc doesn't plan to repeat the test until 6 months (Oct.) and at that time will determine if I'm SVR. I don't know why some do at 3/6 mo. and others only at 6. At any rate, Congratulations!!! on the great news. caruu

Does celexa make you tired. I slept almost all day yesterday, or just layed in bed. Today, I went to work, only find out the store was not ready, and now I'm home YAWNNING!! Went to bed at 10:30, slept till like 7:30, so I'm rested. Has anyone else taken celexa, and gotten so tired???

Woo hoo! Just heard from my nurse and I was undetectable at 4 weeks!! I'm 2b and had a VERY high viral load going in (33 mil!). Feeling great, and hope this is a good omen of things to come.

Hey you should be happy. I was first undetcable at 12 weeks. I'm also 2B so you should really be happy. You seem to be following the same pattern as me only sooner and that can only be a good thing. Congratulations continue staying on time and full dose my friend.

Great to hear from you. I told my GI to do the 3 month because my LFT's never got to normal. They are now. Hang in there I know you will get the good new at 6 month.

OKIE Congrats! I am updating ya!
Phil Ditto to ya, I put you on my website, need your main meds Peg or PegIntron?
Chevy luv ya too! Ditto with the updates!
Snook - I never took Celexa but I have heard from a friend of mine that she took one of the SSDI's (think thats what that group of drugs is called) and she said it made her yawn all day long. Some say to take them at nite if they seem to make you sleepy, or in AM if they seem to wire ya...hope the sleepiness wears off, but if not ask for a different one, it is probably your body getting used to it. Are you on tx now? I will put your info on my website if ya want (age, state, meds, genotype, weeks on tx, and so forth) www.geocities.com/auggieaz
Either post it here or go to the site and click on "add my info"
Thanks! OHC/Auggie

Great, nothin to blame it on!! Thanks for the info, my mother in law said my body is getting used to it, and should go away in a couple days. I felt like I got hit by a truck yesterday, one of those tireds were you lay down and can only peek out of one eye occasionally.
I see that one Sx is vivid dreams?? So that explains my humping the pillow!! LOL!!!
