WATER 101 --'Obsessively gung ho!', where are you???

way
WATER 101

When I first started TX I read this forum and it was (and is)my main source of information 24/7.

You ALL "drilled" into my head the IMPORTANCE and NECESSITY of water consumption during TX. Correct me if I'm wrong but the subject came up in every other thread, or maybe it just seemed like it...

This information has helped me more than any one thing and I believe it is responsible for my lack of sx.

It has been kinda hard for me to keep up(reading this forum entirely) with soooo many threads per day and so very long,(some of them). Its hard for me to be positive about this but I don't think the newbies are being told the importance of drinking LOTS of water. It hasn't been mentioned at all lately, Has it?? Some of the new tx'ers are really having a hard time of it from the very begining. (like Mishelli)I believe that water drinking was given as a remedy for sx.

I know some of you from from time to time post the meanings of the acronyms we use, for the newbies. I think we need to keep mentioning the importance of drinking lots of WATER--I mean let's get REALLY GUNG HO!!!!!!

I'm a big water drinker.  I sweat a lot when it is hot out and I need a lot of water.  I think it does lessen my sides and it is just better for you.  I drink about a gallon to a gallon and a half of water per day.  I drink it pretty easy too.  I hope everyone is doing well.

Take care,

Steve

I have drunk a lot of water for the entire 10 months I have treated so far and it didn't lessen my sides one iota. I was cautioned by the do not to go overboard on water. Everybody is different. Maybe it is the water than is lessening your sides or maybe you just won't have horrid sides. Not everyone does.
I do think wter is important for anyone on tx due to the dehydrating effects of the meds.
I am glad to hear so far you are not having hard to handle  sides.

Thanks for asking. I have until next March, 72 weeks in all. I was on 1600 riba a day but I am now on 1200 hoping I can get some relief and not be so housebound for the rest of the tx.
How are you doing? I am bad at keeping track of everyone's stats.

Hey I noticed you were having the hand/feet pain too. What the heck is that about? We are very close in weeks treating, (both pushing close to 40 weeks or there abouts I think) and I am having that too. Have no clue why but it cropped up a few weeks back when I woke up and it is persisting. Seems to ease up some durig the day with moving, but the morings I am like claw woman. Strange that one. Hope yours isn't too tough to handle. I have been doing some sit down gardening, better than nothing I figure. I am a gardening nut so just having hands in the dirt again is uplifting.
Good movies have been few and far between, I did see Derailed and liked it but it's been one lousy movie after another lately.
Wish your friend a happy one from me, hang in there you are getting down to the end of this tx routine!
