English is not my first language but I will try to be simple - if somebody knows that he was in a situation when he could get hepatitis B and it happened recently (but I don't know whether it means hours or days or what), doctor can give him that mentioned drug (Hepatitis B Immune Globulin).
what u want to say please be clear. my english is not so good so please write in simple words.
i will appreciate it.
hello, divya1082, I read about it at http://www.who.int/csr/disease/hepatitis/whocdscsrlyo20022/en/index5.html Hepatitis B immune globulin is mentioned there but it looks like it is meant especially for people who know when they were potentially exposed to the virus. I mean, I don't know what precisely "soon" means in that explanation
i really couldnt understand ur comment? please explain it.
hello all, I just wonder if HBIG would be of any meaning if administered to divya1082 now or whether it is applicated really only in hours following an exposure as a prophylaxis
thanks to all of for reply,
still i m waiting for my second report that will have virus load and other thing related to disease. i thought i would get today but doc's nursr said that u l get report after 8 days........!its too long!
does the test take that much time?
i have HEP B and not immune this is sure.
Hep B is very treatable with excellent result ranging from 70-90% cure rates depending on heaalth, and adhereance to treatment. so If you cet seen and treated soon, you could getpast all this, and have a healthy baby in just a couple of years,
nobody likes to put their life on hold, but look at NYCity. they had to clean up a big mess, and they got downa nd dirty, and cleaned it up...and cried a lot...it was not a mess of their own making...but it still needed fixing up.
just keep puttint one foot in front of another, read and learn. you are one of the lucky ones, your disease is almost always curable. so just get going on it. And if you BF has it, and won't treat....time to move on to someone who really cares about you, and himslef.
I read your mail this morning but didn't have time to reply. Just want to say the news makes us all a little anxious. You need to find out some more information before any of us can help. Is your virus Hep B and/or C? Acute or is it chronic? Chronic loosely means that you've had it longer than 6 months. If you can get back with those answers then the right people not doctors can help you understand just what you should be doing.

Sorry, posted to the wrong thread. I'm a bonehead.
Unrequited love is bad. Unrequited virus is good. Having your boy friend becoming undetectable in your life is not necessarily a bad thing. Find someone healthy in mind and body and be good to yourself..
Did you test positive to hep b or c? I was diagnosed with both b and c. My gastro dr told me that I got over b and I would never get it again. I got the vaccine for A. Now I am on my 4th week of treatment for c. I don't think the vaccine helps if you already got it, what did the dr say?

can i get hep B vaccine after i ve got the virus? will it work?
than you so much. i ll let you know about my next report.
Hi, I will keep you and your husband in my prayers. Do you have Hep B? When you get diagnosed with hep b or c it is overwhelming and causes depression. Start using your computer to research what you can do with diet and supplements until you find out what your blood work shows.
God Bless,
