Yea! Nuhepper climbs lots of steps. Do you really think that will be a problem?
Thanks to all. You are very helpful.
Yeah, hopefully nuheppers job doesn't include stair climbing, that used to exhaust me. I have 8 stairs I have to go up and down to do the laundry, and do laundry for the four of us in my family. I would have to rest after the climb~
I administered my Interferon on Friday so I could recover over the weekend so you might want to consider timing your shot in the same manner (the day before your days off). The main thing is to stick with a schedule once you make possible adjustments. You might want to schedule your training or doctor's appointment on the day you plan to take your first shot.
This does not guarantee you wont have aches and pains throughout the week but I found I was good to go by the time Monday rolled around.
When I was on dual therapy I took my Ribavarin in the morning (not on empty stomach though some people do) and the other dose in the evening before dinner. :)
I'm a genotype 3 as well. I take my injection on Sunday evenings and feel pretty jacked up the next days. Tuesday is my worst...I don't work but if I did Id imagine Id take my injection on my Friday after work so Id feel the worst of it during my weekend. (That's if your trying to avoid feeling bad at work) That's just my opinion. To be honest, I feel the meds 7 days a week and have a hard time getting up the stairs in my house let alone hold down a job...LOL...that's just me though...I'm a big baby...There's plenty of people that work while treating.
Good Luck
So, say for example, you work mon~friday, I would ake your shot friday night. You would probably feel fine by the following monday.
But Interferon side effects can really vary. Sometimes I would fell fine after the shot, and the next day, but get achey the day after. But I always felt fine by the third day, post shot.
After I had been tsking the shots for 12 weeks, my body got used to the Interferon, and because there was such a level amount in my system all the time, I no longer experienced the stronger side effects, that I had the first 12 weeks.
On weeks 8~12 I got a head-ache form the shot, but that too passed. The side effects always fluctuated.
