Are most people continuing to work while on the triple tx?
Congratulations and welcome to the 2 week UND club....of which i am a member. This is my second time treating....my first time in 2008 was with riba and peg of which I was a slow responder and reached und at wk 16 and then stopped tx.
I started triple tx on 9/28/11:
6/22/11 vl (pre-tx )was 1,793,525.
9/23/11 vl (pre-tx) was 3,122,098.
Started incevik tx on 9/28/11.
10/5/11 vl (1 wk) was 129.
10/12/11 (2 wk) vl is UND.
I wish you continued success. gingerpal
yes 24 weeks. Much less then the 48 weeks before. By the end of 48 weeks I was in bad shape, lost 50 pounds and weak.
Thanks to all. The last time I treated it was this board that got me through.
They tested me in week 2 and went from viral load over 2 million to detected under 43. All other pcrs have been undetected. Now in week 17 and very happy to be finished with the Incevik.
My best friend on rib/peg/inc clinical trial cleared in 5 days, he had hep c for 30 yrs, and was 60, first time treatment. And like so many, my first blood work was done at 4 weeks, with UND results, but unless we were checked frequently, none of us REALLY know when we actually went UND.
Good luck on your journey, you are off on the right start!

at week 2 i was detectable <43, at week 4 undetectable, there are many of us on here experiencing rapid viral response... good good news
Congrats on the rapid viral response!!! You are lucky! Insist on Meds for the sides. If we can manage them we can make it. Talk about your dr policy on procrit early, anemia seems to be the worst sx.
So happy for you!
Wonderful to hear that!! Congratulations on such a quick response.
Congrats ! We do have a member, that was UND by week two, a very nice lady from NM Mary.
Great result are you going for 24 weeks now ?
Sounds like youve got a good outlook, and when youve battled this thing before you know what its about. I am 51 yrs old, and dont think I want to do int again. My Dr would like to see me go 48wks, but I dont know if thats going to be a possibility because of my job situation. I am in wk 17 now I think and am having some bad sides. Maybe it will get better. Its sure not easy, but its doable!!
So far it seems to be working. Fingers crossed and praying.
Last time was hard for me also. I did not drink enough liquids and got really bad rash. Anemia was bad right off the bat (is again) starting procrit this week. hang in there this has to work this time! I am 62 and will not put myself through this again if it does not work. I am super compliant and intend to stay that way, ONE LAST TIME!

Most docs don't do a viral load until week 4. The rec time for viral load tests are week 4, 12. I had one at week 8 also. So not sure many will have been tested before week 4 although some have. Most of use don't know what week we became undet before week 4, if undect at week 4. Great results. Hold on to that thought as you go on this journey.
Wow, I start treatment for geno type 1a next month & pray I get great results like you. Have had it since 1997 & waited for incivex to be approved. My most recent viral lad is 14,400,000. Just curious if you know what yours was?
