undetected week 8!

Just got my results

HCV RNA QN TMA <5   <5   IU/mL
HCV RNA QN TMA_ <0.70   <0.7   LogIU/mL

I have been and reduced interferon and riba since week  5.  I have really been trying to get close to the 20grams of fat at each incivek dose.  havent been successful all the time but have never missed a dose.  I am still affected by many side effects. nausea, anemic fatigue,  are probably the most intense.   It is all worth it because it's working! I will try and have a more positive attitude when My face is in the toilet from this point out.  Yippii!!!!  Thanks for all the encouragement to keep going,  I am truly greatful.. :)

To all A very sincere thank you again for cheer leading for me and everybody through this.  I read all the responses to my husband and he was amazed that so many of you would take the time to share in the positive news with me.

@ Proactive  I do have some anti nausea meds from prescription.  ondansetron  for day time  that you put under your tongue but only prescribed every 12 hours.   It doesnt last that long.  and also for night phenergan that has benadryl in it to make you drowsy.  that is only every 8 hours.   I really could use something more often.  When I get up in the morning is the worst.  and as the dose times get closer my body seems to sense it and the nausea hits.  Or if I get hungry, nausea sets in.  So I will look into the protonix.  Thanks
@Wildorchid,  I feel like a jello blob.  When I wave my arms it most likely looks like a string ray flap.  The cellulite is coming out of nowhere!  Everywhere!  uggh.....  It seems like junk food is the menu special of the day.   I hope its not addicting to the point I have to wean  myself off.  Maybe  I'll get lucky and the same effect will happen that  happened to so many other foods I use to like. not ever wanting to eat another piece of KFC again!   Then it will be worth it.
@ lucky My 24 week treatment end date is October 28.  Maybe I'll be a dragon slayer for halloween this year :)
@ I never thought I could be a source of knowledge or strength.  As much as I have received here , from all the folks that stick and have stuck around even long after SVR or treatment failure to help others, I feel honored to be able to pass anything I have learned or experience here forward.  Thank you for that.

Congratulations!

I know how you have been feeling, I am on week 12 and the anemia is at times unbearable! But we have to get the strength to continue. I just had my last trial pill on Tuesday, but the Riba causes  most of all the bad side effects! I can barely eat anything anymore, just junk food is all my stomach tolerates. I have lost 8 lbs since I started, and I have lost so much muscle tone, all because I'm barely active.

Keep up the good job, soon it will all be in the past and just a bad memory, but to get healthy we have to do it!
