Would hepatitis C be detectable in a PCR ?

I had a PCR done 3 months after a risky relationship and the doctors found nothing strange so everything was ok. If I had HCV would the PCR show it?

At 3 months post exposure risk a PCR is conclusive, you do not have hep c.

another question just to be sure... i didn't tell them that i might have contracted HCP... could this change your statement ?
