hi, i was diagnosed in 2003, genotype 1b.  my viral load was 17 million.  i went thru very stessful period with marriage, now divorced and feeling much better but now am tired, baseball under the ribs etc.  A year ago I quit eating meat and have cut way down on the dairy.  My viral load dropped to under 3 million.  Went on a very stressful vacation with my parents where my dad was sick and my mom has ahlzeimers.  my viral load is back up to 14 million.  Stress is so bad for hep c.  anyway, went on the healthy heppers website and found where hundreds of people have cleared the virus from their system using Lloyd wrights alternative treatment program and recommendations.  am just starting it and wondering if anyone has had success with this?   taking lots of chinese herbs, gladular extracts and other supplements.  I am lucky cuz my dad is paying for it.  have horrible insomnia though, was also diagnosed bi polar and waiting to get on meds for that.  trying to keep all toxins out of my body.  very chemically sensitive.
anyone have luck with alternative stuff or this one?  heard of it?

No one has ever "cleared the virus from their system" using Lloyd Wrong's methods.

As Hector said, "3, 14, 17 million are not that different".Spend a week or two reading through the archives of this forum and you'll be more of an HCV authority than ol' Lloyd.

I'm bi polar as well and most of the meds for that are bad for you'd liver so you need to mke sure your dr for that is aware of your hep c ad possible liver damage already. Also all meds are toxic sorry to break that to you haha! I'm sorry i'm on a talk sh*t about pharmaceutical company

Take care of your bipolar illness first. You need to be able to manage your thoughts and feelings before moving forward and making decisions about your health.

At the same time you can learn about hepatitis C and the new hepatitis C treatments that will be on the market soon. As you learn more about hepatitis C you will find that 3, 14, 17 million are not that different and as long as you have a viral load of any number your liver is being damaged. Your viral load has nothing to do with stress.

As long as you have the virus it is damaging your liver as it is replicating. Soon most people with genotype 1b will be able to be cured of the virus with new treatments that will be available. Why keep living with the virus when you can eliminate it once and for all? Many on this forum have already eliminated the virus both with the older SOC treatment and some with the new meds while in clinical trials.

The Chinese herbs, gladular extracts and other supplements could be further damaging your liver depending on how diseased your liver is. You should be under a doctor's care to find out the current status of your hep C and liver disease and then you can make your decisions for treatment on based on the facts.
