Symptoms pointing?

Hi, Last week I got very sick, symptoms (bad fever, shakes, loss of appitite/weight, sight gone alittle weird, weak as, strange sleeping habits).
At first I thought it was just a bad flu, but than I got a few unexplained bruises, no feeling of fingers on bruised hand (seem to be around veins), and feet are numb at times. I'm 23yrs old.
So I went to the doctor and he said "Your probably stressed about being sick and it was a coincidence that u bruised on the hand, you might have knocked it." I don't think I really gave him the full picture.
But more bruising came in other areas, and generally I'm health wise but I'm know I'm not stressed-out, like I said I thought I had a bad flu.
So I went to a medical centre and have booked some blood tests for this thursday.
What can I say really, I just trying to help myself and its better me talk here that wait around thinking about it.
So, :) my main question is what are the things I can do now, incase? Expecially vitamins I should be having and general tips on whats good to do?
Anything you guys would like to say I'd love to hear. Thx heaps.

That don't sound good. I don't want to scare you, but the same thing happened to a friend of mine back in 1983. He had leukemia.
I'm sure he doctors will let you know what's up.  Maybe it's only mono or the flu.  Maybe you are going thru the acute phase of hepatitis.
Hope everything turns out all right.

there are no physicians monitoring this forum and answering questions.  Yours are very specific and are best answered by a doctor after he/she runs the appropriate tests. This board is mainly for hepatitis related questions.
