bloating and severe abdominal pain

My husband spent all night feeling extreme abdominal pain from what he thinks is bloating. today his bowel movements are not working as normal. anybody experienced sth similar? he's on the 7th week of treatment.

I have had swelling of the ankles an legs, My bowel movements burn real bad. but haven't had my stomach hurt as of yet.

I agree with hrsepwrguy. Any severe abdominal pain should be evaluated right away. If his own GI or hepatologist cannot see him today, then I think he should be seen in an emergency room as soon as possible.

I will not go into details but we had one member who had this and it didn't turn out well at all, please get your husband medical attention ASAP, this is not a normal side effect of incivek
