Afraid Of Hep C

Had sex with a prostitute jan 14 2016, Condom broke and I did 8 hiv test from 2 week to 10 weeks including one for hep c at 10 weeks all came back neg. I know that the hiv might be conclusive at 10 weeks but in case of a co infection there might be a chance.
Now 28 weeks I started feeling some dull pain under my right rib cage,It also happens when I eat or some times out of now where...Is this a symptom of hep c? its over the 6 month period.
The 10 weeks test finger prick didn't mean anything?
If someone uses my towel to dry them self will it be a risk?

Before 10 weeks i had all the symptoms of  hiv on the book but not swollen lymph nodes but I think some of them was a xanax withdraw.

28 week and trying to be strong enough to test for hep c and hep b and for the hell of it hiv.

Main concern is the right rib cage dull pain, I think I remember the girl having jaundice or yellow skin but I was intoxicated and couldn't put 2 and 2 together. It could also be my brain playing games with me.

I have had Hep c for 37 years and cirrhosis for 8. Never had any lower right quadrant pain.

Hep c is generally not considered to be an STD but having unprotected sex with sex workers is a higher risk. Hep c requires blood to blood contact to be transmitted.

Hep c is not transmitted by sharing towels or even sharing eating utensils or drinking from the same container. It is transmitted when the blood of a hep c infected person comes I contact with the blood stream of an uninfected  person.

I am not familiar with a finger prick test for hep c. As it has been more than 6 months you can have a hep c antibody test which would be conclusive if it says you do not have hep c antibodies. If you do have antibodies you would need an additional test to see if you are currently infected with virus.

But if I were to bet I think you don't have hep c but I am not a medical professional.

If worried get tested, if positive for the virus get treated and get cured. No worries either way

Flyinlynn,

Also I have to mention that I saw a small amount of her blood on the condom, not bright red but dark red.
For some reason I have a bad feeling this time...

Did the blood on the condom enter your blood stream?

Even health care workers who experience an accidental needle stick involving a patient with known hep c the risk of contracting hep c in this situation is about 1.8%
If you have concerns get tested
