That's right Bily, my anti nausea drugs are expensive, it's hard to know what all you'll need, but I'm sure you could go to all those manufacturers and ask for help too. They do add up. Billy is right to get a notebook. I chose a 3 ring binder and a 3 hole punch. Saved all my notes and correspondance so that i could actually read it and be able to access everything easily.
maybe get a notebook and keep track of everything ...when and who you talk to..what they say...keep organized from the start...talk with your doctor as well as the companies...you should be fine..also before tx check on rescue dugs if needed......billy
Call the companies directly, they will pretty much cover the whole thing as long as soon as your doc signs off to them, you first have to get your doc to prescribe, he should help you with the pharmacies that will be delivering and, the pharmacies will then help you with getting assistance too. You can also go directly to incivek and ask for help as well as the pegasys site.
Genentech access solutions will assist you financially with co pay assistance1-800-240-1224 also for peg...1-866-512-3861, they can fax you documents needed, or some you can print off the website and send back to them via fax or mail, you will need to also send a copy...perhaps of your federal income statement. They are all very helpful and will work with you, assign you a case number and stuff. Good luck dear!
