I've been working with computers for many years and on occasion, I've experienced what you describe to the T. Typically, it happens when my neck is tense and/or in an odd position with a death stare at the monitor...Used to scare the hell out of me until I realized it would go away if I relaxed, looked out the window, etc.
Good luck with that.
Doing dual treatment only. I had my blod work done at 2 weeks, and HGB hadn't dropped very much at all. It went from a baseline of 14.3 to 13.7...I just did my 4 week blood test on Friday, waiting for the results, hope to hear by tomorrow. I don't think my HGB has dropped that much, maybe a little, but don't think it has been a big drop, or at least I'm not experiencing any of the symptoms I have seen reported here such as shortness of breath, not being able to walk far, etc...
I will keep an eye on it and report it to my doc, it was just weird, never felt anything like that before, don't want that to happen while driving! Feeling better now, back to walking on a cloud,ha...
Thanks all...
I remember you are treating but not sure what on. I got dizzy many times on incivek. I found yoga breathing helped add some oxygen. I believe it was related to anemia but my hgb never went low enough to treat. It stayed just over ten when tested.
From the incivek documentation:
Low red blood cell count (anemia) that can be severe. Tell your healthcare provider if you have any of these symptoms of anemia: dizziness, shortness of breath, tiredness, or weakness.
About 8 weeks into treatment, when I was having a lot of trouble with nausea and bloating and just about everything else was going wrong, and I was eating only Greek yogurt and eggnog, I got exceptionally dizzy one eve. I felt like I was drunk out of my mind on a lurching ship in high seas. I kept listing to the side and could not stand up. I had to lay down. It finally passed and I could get up. I still do not know why it happened and I have never had it before or since. I just chalk it up to my general deteriorating state before I got on Zofran and started eating better. I am just relaying the odd experience so you know others have odd things like that too.
However, I don't know why you got dizzy. So many things can make a person dizzy (ear infection, fluid in the inner ear, palpitations, neurological problems, lack of food and low blood sugar, high blood pressure, low blood count, etc.). I'd keep an eye on it and probably mention it to my doc.
Hmmm, not totally sure. There are several different types of Vertigo and here is a link to the type I experience:

It can happen unexpectedly, even when you are sitting down, IF the angle of your head changes (and/or changes too quickly). Today being a holiday, I hope you are able to reach your doc tomorrow.
