drug induced jaundice

how can drug induced jaundice be treated? it is caused due to carbamazapine. we have stopped all the drugs he is on catheter for BPH and the patient is 74 years old. but since 3 months jaundice is on the rise . He was given blood transfusion one month back and since then all parameters of jaundice have tripled.

No doctors are on this forum....we are mostly patients with hepatitis C.

They have doctors answering questions at this link. Maybe they can be more helpful. Hopefully, the patient is seeing a liver specialist (hepatologist) and not be treated by anyone less experienced.
