Don't quote me on this figure -  tx cost is somewhere around $2400 a month.  Yes, insurance usually covers the cost but how much they pay is determined by your policy coverage.  As in 80 -20 or 70 -30 or 100%.  Deductibles play a role and you must make sure your health plan includes drug coverage.  Just depends on what your policy states.  I have read on this forum where some people are denied because biopsy does not indicate they have enough damage to the liver to justify treatment.  That's another story altogether and of course they usually appeal that decision.
