first shot ? tylenol, advil, zanax

If fed-ex shows up today, I'm going to take my first shot tomorrow. Everyone says to take Tylenol or advil with the shot but I thought those were bad for my liver. What about zanax?

It's 2000 MILIgrams...or four extra strength, or 6 regular strength per day of tylenol.

Best of luck!  Tylenol is recommended by my doc.  I had a fever the first shot night, and it was relieved with two extra strength Tylenol.  No fever second shot.  Check with your doc on his preference and what mg he says you can take.  And I agree - Xanax should be fine.
