Did you watch 60 Minutes last Sunday ?
They did a piece on GlaxoSmithKline (i get some of my Riba from them )
pretty scary stuff. Dosages labeled incorrectly , contaminated meds ,
different meds mixed in same bottle and even scarier is how they try to cover
it up and try keep the plant open despite these findings.
What I am saying is it is not all what it seems and when it comes to quality control
the FDA does check ups only very sporadically and the Pharm co`s are basically
left to police themselves.
Many meds we get in the USA are actually manufactured elsewhere.
My Riba comes from India , my migraine meds from Singapore ,Alinia from Belgium ect.....
Well, it's not like we've had a huge track record of quality products out of Southeast Asia. Poison dog food, deadly drywall, contaminated paint on children's toys. Granted, these all came from Red China, but I wouldn't take the chance.
With something as important as interferon, and as potentially dangerous....
RBW
thanks for the info.
So the Roche patent on Pegasys is running out in 2017.
Propably just in time for INF free tx.
Its probably water in some ones old redipens... Yeah! Now I have another Genotype of HepC... Thanks anyway...
Good thinking. I thought about that too. But what kind of controlls do we really have here? I have never believed everything our media, govt, quaility controll etc tells us. Well I did work in quality controll, and I did do the job of the USDA in the chic industry. So what can I say? Look at what Auto industry will do not to recall a toyota. There is a woman in prison for a lexus she said excelerated, killing 1 or 2 children in her car. She was on pain meds guilty. I had a 1989 toy pu automatic, it excelerated 2 times, scarry, but I handled it. You simply cannot trust any industry/man out for profits first.
I'd be very careful of this stuff personally. What kind of quality controls are in place?
Caveat emptor.
Thank You, Im sure that could be information that is usefull to someone...
