I agree about the lack of controls. And also maybe it's the humic acid and maybe not.
"I started Humic acid in september"
" I have had such strong side effects to interferon and rivaviron still 9 months after i stoped treatment. Lupus like symtoms, very painful cramp, can't sleep at night, brain fog, and complete hair loss"
...Maybe it's the Humic acid...
Rethinking, do you live in the US? There are currently some clinical trials using lambda interferon; it purportedly carries fewer side effects than interferon alpha. You might discuss this with your doctor

One of the problems with alternative therapy is that there is no control; no scientific method involved. If person receives any response from their new management protocol, they can’t determine whether the response is a result of the product, or in *spite* of it.
I agree with others above that viral load is dynamic and changes spontaneously as a result of slight changes in immune response; unfortunately a reduction from 67,000 to 40,000 IU/mL isn’t significant.
I’m sorry to hear you didn’t tolerate the last treatment drugs; as you probably understand, interferon will likely be included in HCV therapy for at least the near future.
Good luck, Columbina-

I cannot retreat as I have had such strong side effects to interferon and rivaviron still 9 months after i stoped treatment. Lupus like symtoms, very painful cramp, can't sleep at night, brain fog, and complete hair loss. My Doctors said good luck but they could do nothing more for me.
That's a great answer from Hector. I would agree and simply say "ditto".
"In december my viral load was 67,000. in march my viral load was 40,000."
There is really no significant difference between the two numbers. 2 logs10 or (100 times) is significant. A viral load of 670 would be a significant reduction in viral level.
Viral loads go up and down all the time. As long as you have a viral load the virus is active and is damaging your liver.
As a relapser you have a great chance of SVR with the new DAAs meds. So regroup and retreat and you should beat this virus for good.
