No they will not order the expensive PCR test for routine medical exam, only the antibody test may be run for student visa.
Like willbb said get a letter from your doctor.
Best of luck
As copyman mentioned.."The antibody test will always show reactive"
There is nothing that can be done about this, however there is no need to disclose anything about HCV as you 'do not have it" and if there is an issue made of the "positive AB result" a letter accompanying any required medical records from your physician stating you "Do Not have HCV" and that there is "No risk of tranmission " might be helpful.
Good luck.. and congrats on beating down HCV in 2004

Thanks for your feedback. But in medical checkup will they not find that my pcr is nagitive and it doesnt transfer to anybody else ?as I have wife and kids and they are tottaly fine according to the medical checkup.
The antibody test will always show reactive. Many times these reactive results will prevent being able to get a visa. I would make sure that if you are denied a visa then be prepared with documents showing you have treated the disease and no longer have it. And more importantly that you can not transmit it to someone else.
Best of luck
