Excellent response S.A.D.
you know your stuff.
If it's qualitative as opposed to quantitative it is a go/no go test as opposed to giving you a quantifiable viral load count number. Your qualitative test report says that it is sensitive down to 15 IU/ml. So if your VLC is 0-14 IU/ml the test doesn't detect it. If it's 15+, it detects it. Your qualitative PCR result was detected, so according to these test results, your VLC is at least 15 IU/ml. It could be 15, it could be 16, it could be 8,000,000,000. The qualitative test won't give you a quantitative number.
What it means is you should get another test. This could have been a false positive since the number is so low.
It is possible due to contamination in the lab, etc.
Best of luck
What it means is your viral load is between 1 and 14. The limit was 15 or higher to get a real number..... While your still detected it is very low. Best to you.
