I went through with it

Hi all,
Well I took the step and as you all said it was hard to do.  I really don't want to hear the results of that PCA test.  i have to get an abdominal sono now, but I have to get a new doc because this one said no Hep A vaccine and I knew that was a boo-boo.
I'm not drinking but worry that this is a bargaining tool that I'm using to promise to be a good girl if you only give me a good result.  I have to resolve to take a hit and withstand it if that's what comes and I can't imagine that not what's coming.
I read your posts and it helps me, trying to figure out how to function and take care of me and my little white dog during treatment.  Kind of a loner here.  Don't have a friend close enough to trust with this news, but I'll take one day at a time.
My very best wishes to all who are winning and all who are putting up the good fight.
Judy

I am so sorry you don't have anyone close to trust with your news right now :(  My guess is that little white dog is very important to you and although you have to want to get well for yourself, do it for him too, he needs you.

Hey Judy, One day at a time kido. Take it easy and do not worry about the dog and all that stuff. That will work out. Keep focused, keep busy! Do what you have to do but don't drink. Hang in there. We are all right here with you.

Hi judy,
Best wishes to you and may you continue to be strong in your resolve. I sense alot of strength and determination in your posts and feel you should rename yourself a beingbrave (didn't Lou say this?) Anyway all the best to you and please reach out whenever you need a lift or a place to come and be yourself.

Treatment for me hasn't been bad but I do hate giving myself the weekly shot, ooohhh, yuuuck!!! I hate it!!!
But I try to keep it positive even if needles have always creeped me out.

I feel that the worst part of TX was dreading the unknown before starting. Once I embarked on this journey I've been ok. And my little, ancient, lovin dachshund has been a great comfort during this ride. All the best to you and please stay in touch whenever you need a caring voice to share these ups & downs.
