Hep c is a blood to blood disease. In other words your blood has to get into the bloodstream of anothers blood or vice-versa. So if you are snorting heroin or any drug with a shared straw or bill and someones nose is bleeding somewhat you can possibly be setting yourself up for infection.I wouldnt think that the heroin itself would be infected but dont know-never did it.
Modes of transmission are;  sharing needles or drug  equipment
Tattoos
Medical and dental work
sex-but only 1 %  cindy
